Join us on <strong>Saturday, March 1st from 4pm to 6 pm<\/strong> at t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravishingradish.com\/waterfront-event-venue-seattle.html\">he Yacht Club on Lake Union<\/a>, located at 3229 Fairview Ave. E.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy drinks and a buffet of hors d\u2019oeuvres catered by Ravishing Radish!<\/p>\n<p>Cost is $30 for members, $35 for non-members. Memberships may also be renewed at this meeting.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s speaker is <strong>Phil Talmadge<\/strong>, who served in the Washington State Senate from 1979 to 1995 and on the Washington Supreme Court from 1995 to 2001. \u00a0The title of his talk is\u00a0\u201cReflections on the Legislature and the Supreme Court.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Guild\u2019s annual award honoring a Pacific Northwest historian will be given to <strong>Junius Rochester.<\/strong> For decades Junius Rochester has actively contributed to history \u2013 especially Seattle history \u2013 in its most local aspects: neighborhoods, buildings, and institutions. Author of numerous books and articles, he lectures authoritatively on various topics.
