For several years the conference was at the Nordic Heritage Museum, then at MOHAI, and most recently at Seattle Center.\u00a0 Themes have ranged from borderlands to food, from the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition to the 1962 Seattle World\u2019s Fair.<\/p>\n<p>However, the conference has become more difficult to sustain, both financially and in attracting participation.
