{"id":1927,"date":"2020-01-26T12:30:59","date_gmt":"2020-01-26T20:30:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pnwhistorians.org\/guild\/?p=1927"},"modified":"2020-07-06T06:51:35","modified_gmt":"2020-07-06T14:51:35","slug":"dan-peterson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pnwhistorians.org\/guild\/index.php\/dan-peterson\/","title":{"rendered":"Dan Peterson"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"238\" height=\"300\" class=\"wp-image-1928\" src=\"https:\/\/pnwhistorians.org\/guild\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Dan-Peterson-238x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dan Peterson was a long-time active member of the Pacific Northwest Historians Guild.\u00a0 He was board president from 1991 to 1992 and served on the board from 1991 through 1994 and again from 1997-1998 and 2008-2009, whenever he was needed to hold the organization together. He received the Guild\u2019s lifetime achievement award in 2005.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dan taught history at Seattle Central Community College from 1966 to 1993. He graduated from the University of Washington with a B.
