Since 1983, the Guild has held a conference showcasing research from the collective effort of historians, librarians, archivists, and educators. For the past few years, the conference has been free. It is always open to anyone who wishes to attend.
There is also a scholarship available for students to attend the conference. In 2002, the Guild published More Voices, New Stories with help from the King County Landmarks & Heritage Commission. As part of that grant, the Guild decided to use the proceeds to create the Murray Morgan Scholarship Fund. It is this fund that allows us to support the attendance and contributions of students at our biannual conference. For information on the fund, please contact us: pacificnwhistoriansguild@gmail.com.
