Faces of Citizen-Soldiers: Stories of the Washington National Guard

The authors of Washington National Guard (Arcadia, Oct 2019) draw from their just-published pictorial history to highlight several of the long-overlooked personal stories they have uncovered. In narrating these vignettes, they will show how the Guard has played an integral role in both peace and war and in both state and federal service.

The presentation will be on Thursday, December 5, in the Ames Library Seminar Room (located on the second floor, Seattle Pacific University campus. Socializing begins at 7:00 p.m., followed by the program at 7:30 p.m. This presentation is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the SPU lot at 4th Av. W. and W. Dravus St.
